The purpose of this activity is to know when to use past simple and past continuous, within one sentence. It consists of 10 sentences and gives you the grade at the end with the corrections and a short explanation. Best for ages 11 and up.
All the three activities are good for practising Past Continuous but most of all I liked "Alibi" . I do think, it's excellent for all level students but I would prefer to practise it with intermediate ones. Students will be able to improve their speaking skills via creating stories. Besides, the process can be very intriguing.
